CPI's liability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price paid for the product that gives rise to any liability.

Shortages and Shipping Errors

Customer is responsible for inspecting merchandise upon delivery. Before filing a claim for a short shipment or shipping error, Customer should verify that the package was not opened by someone in Customer’s organization prior to inspection. Claims for shortages and shipping errors will not be considered unless CPI is provided with appropriate supporting documentation and advised within 48 hours of receipt of shipment.

CPI may, from time-to-time, make exceptions regarding the handling of claims for shortages and shipping errors. In the event that CPI makes an exception to this term, Customer acknowledges, agrees, and accepts that the exception made by CPI is only a courtesy to Customer and is in no way attributed to any past course of dealing, any future course of performance or any trade usage.

All claims for shortages and shipping errors are pending until CPI confirms. Failure to comply fully with these requirements will result in CPI denying liability. Click here to file a claim for a shortage or error.

Promotions Policy

CPI regularly offers specials and free goods for customer loyalty and appreciation. These offers are emailed out monthly, weekly, and in some instances daily to those individuals who have signed up to receive them. Additionally, we advertise them on cpiop.com.

In the case of free goods, we frequently offer choices based on order criteria. Free goods are shipped to our customers' address only. These goods are intended for the companies we supply to use at their discretion.

We greatly appreciate our customers and this is our way of saying "Thank You."

Return Rules specifically relating to transactions involving Gift Cards
CPI offers a generous no-hassle return policy. However, by requesting or accepting a gift card for a minimum qualifying purchase, you agree that you are waiving your right to a refund or account credit of individually returned products purchased on the invoice that qualified you for a gift card. You agree that individual products from the qualifying invoice can only be exchanged, for equal or greater value products of the same type that qualified you for the gift card. Any deviation from the above return policy regarding transactions involving gift cards will be at CPI’s sole discretion. In the rare event that CPI agrees to make an exception to the above rules regarding returns, then the gift card will be cancelled, and if already redeemed, then any return of product that included a promotional gift card in the original transaction, will have the value of the promotional gift card deducted from the amount refunded.

Merchants are not sponsors or cosponsors of this program. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery of free item. Promotion void in states where prohibited by law. Payment and Credit Terms

Published prices don’t include taxes, installation, shipping and other special handling charges. Prices are subject to change without notice. For customers with approved CPI credit, payment terms are net thirty (30) days from the date of shipment. Customers that are not approved for net thirty day payment terms, or exceed their approved credit limit, may, at CPI’s discretion, purchase by paying in advance, paying on delivery or paying on terms less than net thirty. In certain cases customers with approved credit may have to pay a portion of an order in advance if it is a special order where the merchandise is specifically for that customer and cannot be returned to the vendor. CPI accepts checks and most major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Credit card arrangements are subject to change. Credit cards accepted is at CPI’s sole discretion and may be changed or eliminated by CPI at any time, for any reason. If customer fails to make full payment within thirty (30) days from the date of shipment or fails to comply with CPI’s Payment or Credit Terms, CPI reserves the right to defer shipments, cancel any portion of any unshipped order until such payment or compliance is made and elect to pursue collection action if deemed necessary by CPI. It is understood that customer will pay all reasonable costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, interest and any other costs incurred by CPI in connection with any collection action for payment of any outstanding amount due herein.

Sales Tax

Applicable state and local tax will be charged on all orders unless customer provides CPI, in advance, with valid Sales & Use Tax Exemption Certification form. Its customer’s responsibility to insure the Sales & Use Tax Exemption Certification is complete and current.
